Michael Bonshor currently works at The ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ, teaching on the MA Psychology of Music course and working on a collaborative research project between Sheffield’s Music and Wellbeing research unit and Brass Bands England.

Michael has had a diverse career as a performer, teacher, conductor, choral arranger, and workshop leader. He has also performed as a professional singer and accompanist.

The Confident Choir, published in 2017, is an exploration of conditions affecting the confidence of singers at all levels, while offering practical confidence-building strategies for conductors, teachers, community musicians and workshop leaders.
