Description

To support effective responses to spatial and environmental injustice there is a need for interdisciplinary research that bridges the gaps between critical social theory and the Earth/Environmental sciences. In this series of events, funded by the Gender Research Network, we consider how queer and feminist theories, methods and approaches offer new points of entry for such interdisciplinary dialogues.

Join us for any/all of the following:

Weds 18th June, 4-5pm (room A09a): Reading group - Queer Environmentalisms - reading Vanesa Castan Broto and Guido Caniglia鈥檚 work.

Thursday 19th June, 10.30am-12.00pm (Ron Johnston & Online): Keynote presentation: 鈥淨ueering collaboration, or what queer theory has to do with interdisciplinary research鈥 by Guido Caniglia ()

Thursday 19th June, 1.30-3.30pm (Ron Johnston): 鈥楰eywords for (interdisciplinary) collaboration鈥: A workshop led by panelists who have used creative approaches/methods to facilitate interdisciplinary scholarship.
